A great day in Fresno, California, today with the Fantasy Fiction Tour. Christopher Hopper and Wayne Thomas Batson got us started this morning with an interview at KSEE 24 News in Fresno. (Click here to see the interview).
From there we went to Fresno Children's Hospital, where I read from The Bark of the Bog Owl to a few of the patients and we gave away dozens of books.
From there we went to an event put on by READFresno, an organization committed to helping young children get a head-start (or catch up) on their reading skills. I read again for a group of very enthusiastic listeners, we gave away more books, and LB Graham got mauled by an 8-year-old who wanted his sword.
